GROOVY MOVIES

Top Tip: Whenever you see a movie soundtrack from the period 1967 – 1973 in a dollar bin, snag it. No matter how naff the film looks. Because chances are there will be at least one track contained therein which will pull all the groovy-delic punches du jour. Oftentimes it’s completely obvious. Any cover featuring a motorbike, a bunch of student types, or a mention of Jack Nicholson is guaranteed to hit the spot. But as the below selections also show, even such potentially square entities as a uniformed sailor or Liza Minnelli shouldn’t dissuade you from forking over that handful of change.
